This privacy policy explains what information ElementTD ("the app", "we") collects and how it's used. The app is published by Screalth Studios.
ElementTD is a tower defense game that can be played offline with no account. Your progress is stored on your device. Some features connect to online services, as described below.
Online features (Arena and Challenge modes). When you use these modes, the app signs you in silently with Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This creates a random identifier that is not linked to your name or email address. Using this identifier, we store:
Google Play Games (optional). If you sign in with Google Play Games Services, which is never required to play, we store your in-game progress (currencies, permanent upgrades, unlocked levels and card collection) as a save file linked to your Google account, using Google's Saved Games API, so your progress syncs across devices. Your Play Games identity is also linked to your online account above, so you can recover it after reinstalling.
We do not ask for or collect your real name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.
ElementTD shows optional rewarded ads served by Google AdMob, which you can choose to watch in return for in-game rewards. To do this, AdMob and its partner networks may collect and use device identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID), approximate location, and other technical data to serve and measure ads, which may include personalized ads where you've given consent. Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the app shows a consent form first, and you can reopen it at any time to change or withdraw your choice from Settings → Account → Privacy Choices. You can also control ad personalization on Android via Settings → Google → Ads, where you can delete your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization (wording varies by Android version). See Google's privacy policy for how it handles this data.
ElementTD offers optional in-app purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play, and we never see or receive your payment details. The app only receives confirmation from Google Play of what you have purchased, so it can deliver your purchase.
The data we store is used only to run the game: to restore your progress when you sign in on any device, to place you on ladders, match you with other players' defenses, resolve matches, and pay out rewards. It is never sold or used for profiling.
Google's handling of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not share your data with any other third party.
All data transmitted between the app and Google's servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
You can permanently delete your data at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete Cloud Save Data. This deletes your cloud-saved progress (if you've linked Google Play Games), and your display name, ladder standings and match history stored on our servers. See how to delete your account data for details. Deleting this data does not affect your local, on-device progress unless you also clear the app's data or uninstall it.
ElementTD is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy if the app's data practices change. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
